This is an in-depth workshop for the School of Decoration inside the Fine Arts Academy of Naples with a project working on environmental space and visual installation.
In the workshop we introduced the phases of the design and composition method, applied to installations, illustrating some examples and artworks, and then we set out a scheme of relationships and operational reports linked to space.
The workshop aims to design an artistic concept on the theme of refraction and reflection, to be developed on a personal, emotional and practical levels. The creative process is also methodological and relies on some seminar contributions and preliminary exercises, whose guiding thread is not linear but propaedeutic to the student’s training.

Seminar contribution 4 – LIGHT AND REFLECTION AS CHARACTERS OF ARTISTIC ENVIRONMENTAL COMPOSITION
The key words of the project in which the students were asked to participate are refraction and reflection, understood in all their meanings and the methodological tools are always perspective, composition and colour where colour coincides with light.
